Background

Dr. Korman received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1987 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minnesota, after which she moved to the Sunshine State and has been in private practice in Southwest Florida for over 35 years.

Functional Medicine & Nutrition

In 2000, she achieved a 300-hour, post-doctorate diplomate in nutrition through the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. Since then, she has continued her studies in functional medicine, advanced blood chemistry analysis, neurodegenerative brain diseases, and thyroid and auto-immune disorders.

Her extensive training in functional medicine enables Dr. Korman to utilize comprehensive testing panels such as expanded blood chemistry, food sensitivity testing, and progressive urine, saliva, stool and/or genetic tests in order to help identify root causes of metabolic dysfunction and drivers of chronic illness. A personalized nutritional and lifestyle road map can then be prescribed to aid in restoring optimal health and vitality.
